BENNE KRISHNA

This is a 2D Thanjavur Painting of little Benne Krishna.

TITLE: NAVANEETA KRISHNA

SIZE: 15 x 12 inches

The painting has been made on a handmade Tanjore Board, gemset with semi precious jaipore stones and gilded with authentic 22ct gold leaf. The painting has an option of a pure chettinad teak wood frame. The painting comes with a signed authenticity certificate.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE PAINTING:

Krishna is one of the most loved Gods, with his little pranks and smiles and endless Leela, He manages to steal hearts and lighten up everyone’s spirits.

One of the most loved episodes from His Leela is the episode of stealing and eating Butter which He is very fond of. The significance of which is to get to know our inner-self or realize the beauty of the atman/ soul or the God within us, just the way we take time to slowly churn out butter from milk. This can happen only by seeking Krishna Himself.

CUSTOMER DIARIES:

The Navaneeta Krishna is everyone’s favorite and I made this for dear Vrindmai: Mrs. Vrinda Pai from Mangalore who is an ardent devotee of Lord Krishna. I am very thankful to her for being one of my first customers and the most appreciative and encouraging one at that!!

Her daily offerings to Lord Krishna include flowers from her garden, the choicest one being Krishnas favorite: A Parijatha Garland put together by her.
